Phillipines Huge lacquered Bangle Bracelet

Very interesting "flying saucer" shaped bangle bracelet has a tag that reads "Made in Philippines". The inside has a woven design and the outside a mottled pattern. I think there is probably a wooden base over which the woven material and mottled "whatever" were placed, then it appears to have had many coats of a clear material -- lacquer, plastic. It was polished to a high shine. The bracelet is 1 inch wide, with slightly over 3/4 inch thick walls. The inside diameter is 2 1/2 inches and inside circumference is 8 inches. It is in very good condition with one small scratch that is not noticeable.
