Siam Filigree Brooch Niello Look

Beautiful Sterling silver handcrafted brooch has the goddess of lightening Mekkala on a shield surrounded by openwork. The brooch is 1 3/4 inches tall, has a safety clasp and is in fine condition. It is signed "Sterling, Made in Siam". Although this looks like other Niello pieces, I believe that the black on this brooch is actually black enamel, as it is shinier than Niello.
"Vintage" means that an item is not recently made, may have been used or worn in the past and usually only one is available for purchase.
