Siam Niello Brooch Goddess Mekkala Sterling

Pretty round Niello Sterling brooch with an engraving of the goddess Mekala is slightly over 1 3/4 inches in diameter. It has a slight dome effect and carved openwork. It has a safety catch, is signed "Sterling 925 Siam" and is in fine condition with a nice patina. Niello jewelry was made by craftsmen in Thailand from the 1930's into the 1980's.
