Elephant Ivory Carved Oriental Brooch - Pre Ban

Wonderful vintage, pre-ban carved elephant ivory brooch has an Oriental theme. There are 5 tiny human figures to be found in the intricately handcarved brooch. It is 1 7/8 inch tall and 1 7/8 inch across, with a safety catch clasp.
The cross-hatching lines typical of genuine elephant ivory can only be faintly seen with 10x magnification with the brooch help upside down and looking at the bottom. I think it is probably from c.1950, based on the catch.
