Les Bernard Mechanical Flower Brooch Rare Vintage

Rare Les Bernard flower pin has petals covered with tiny faceted turquoise colored rhinestones. The long, slender articulated petals can be turned toward the back, front or spread wide open! It is 2 1/2 inches tall and the petals spread to 1 3/4 inches. The soft, brushed goldtone finish is in very good condition, all stones are present and the safety clasp is tight.
It is signed "Les Bernard Inc" and Pat. Pend. Les Bernard company was founded in 1963 by Bernard Shapiro and Lester Joy. This very unusual vintage jewelry brooch is from the earlier days of the company and is a BOOK PIECE listed in Costume Jewelers The Golden Age of Design.
