Adele simpson began by designing quality fashions that were sold in boutiques. To coordinate with her fashions, she produced jewelry in limited quantities for only a few years. At that time, the jewelry sold for high prices. A piece of Adele Simpson jewelry in the 1950's could range in price from $50.00 to $500.00.

Rare 7 1/2" chunky charm bracelet signed "Adele Simpson". Note the three spectacular charms dangling from this bracelet. Left Charm: Creamy baroque pearl charm with decorative metal overlay. Next Charm from the Left: Carved green glass egg-shaped charm with red Bakelite ball. Right Charm: Fancy filigree charm with green glass stone linked to a smaller dangling charm, also with a green stone. It is difficult to determine a value on such a rare bracelet. Best guess, $90.00 - $125.00+. ( From the collection of Debi Reece.)
The most prominent feature of Simpson jewelry is the quality of the design and manufacture. Even the backs of the pins and earrings are finished with decorative beading and have quality workmanship, as seen on the back of the pictured brooch. The jewelry is almost as pretty from the back as it is from the front.

This lovely set is amazingly vibrant and beautiful. Top: Large 1 1/2" x 1" clip earrings signed on each earring "Adele Simpson" in script on a rectangular applied metal tag. Bottom: Two 1 1/2" x 1" pins that exactly match the earrings in size and in construction. Both pins are similarly signed. The deep red rhinestones are all prong set. The large center red cabochon is open at the back to allow light to enter. Each large stone is held in place with decorative (sometimes referred to as dogtooth) prongs. $90.00 - 125.00+

Dates of Operation: Adele Simpson jewelry was only produced in the 1940's and 1950's
Mark: "Adele Simpson" in script, on a raised rectangular plaque.
Recommendations: Adele Simpson jewelry is so rare that a collector should purchase any piece they find in reasonably good condition.
